Other

When he was six years old and watched Jean-Paul Belmondo, who was about to flee in a helicopter, being shot, Charles knew for sure: he would become an actor. He took his first steps on stage in a small, quaint village in western France before seeking out the light in the dark Ruhr region.
For Charles has always been bilingual, it seems, and it is unclear whether his mischievous look is due to German irony or French sarcasm.
A physical actor, he stops at nothing when it comes to embodying a role on screen, and he enjoys playing the perverted murderer as much as the passionate lover.
No one really knows where he is. Some claim to have seen him in Paris, others in Berlin. But one thing is certain: he has made Europe a playground and he is ready for any game.

Charles is a German-French actor who grew up in France. He studied acting at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen/Bochum. Since then he has worked in three languages: German, French and English.
He has filmed for ARD (Polizeiruf), ZDF (Tannbach) and with Elie Chouraqui, Julien Seri and Volker Schlöndorff, among others.
Most recently he was in front of the camera in the Netflix production “Im Westen nichts Neues” alongside Daniel Brühl. (Director: Edward Berger)
